2005 Ohio Design & Construction Expo - Alternative Stormwater Design

In conjunction with Scott Sonnenberg of Eco-Design & Engineering, Ltd., I presented a seminar on alternative stormwater design methods at the 2005 Ohio Design and Construction Expo.  The program included a presentation of background information on current (best) management practices, current EPA stormwater regulations and the relationship between stormwater management practices and where they are located within the geographic watershed.  A sample site plan was distributed and the attendees were asked to conceptually locate program elements including stormwater management facilities as discussed in the presentation.  Individuals initially created their own solution as Scott and I answered any and all questions that were raised.  Finally, individuals formed groups and generated collaborative solutions.  Each group presented their solution and detailed discussion followed.
