Ohio Health - Dublin Hospital

I provided consulting services and assistance to Scott Sonnenberg of Eco-Design & Engineering for this project.  The site plan for the new Ohio Health facility was guided by stormwater management principles.  The stormwater master plan included the following concepts: 1) Direct all rooftop and pavement stormwater to landscape bio-retention/filtration areas, 2) Increase stormwater infiltration on-site wherever possible, and 3) Design infrastructure to infiltrate and store stormwater in micro-catchment areas.  The end result of the stormwater design will be reduced stormwater runoff rate and volume, reduced water temperatures, lower pollutant levels, increased infiltration/recharge volumes and lower costs to the client.
