Ball State University Urban Design Studio In 2002, the Ball State University Department of Landscape Architecture Urban Design Studio was focusing on a brownfield site in the Italian Village District of Columbus, Ohio. I assisted Ball State faculty member Thomas Gallagher and his students as a local guide to tour the neighborhoods surrounding the project site, providing context, history and economic market trends. With this knowledge, the students returned to Ball State to generate landuse masterplan concepts for the site. At the end of the semester, I traveled to Ball State to serve as critic/juror for the student master plan presentations. |
